Born in Brazil, Ana Laura studied Industrial Design at the Universidade de Brasília. She then moved to Hamburg to study typography with Professor Wigger Bierma at the HFBK Hamburg. Ana Laura focuses on book design and typography, sometimes using her knowledge of bookbinding and calligraphy. She is fluent in Portuguese and German, but can also communicate in English and Spanish.

Anna is the newest member of Büro Klass. Born in Regensburg, she studied Audiovisual Media at the HdM in Stuttgart and completed her Masters in Vision & Sound with a focus on design at the HAW Hamburg. She already worked with and for Büro Klass while attending her Masters and since January 2025 she is a part of Klass. Coming from moving image studies she likes animation & also tries to code once in a blue moon.

Sonja is originally from Cologne. Shortly after graduating from FH Düsseldorf, she worked as a freelance graphic designer in Cologne for a few years. She moved to Hamburg, where she completed a Master of Fine Arts at the HFBK-Hamburg. During this time, she delved deeper into the design of book covers. Solving grids and chaotic content like a puzzle, she is our systemic design expert.

Kerstin was born in Munich, Germany, and studied Industrial Design at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy). She got a scholarship for the Designlabor Bremerhaven before moving to Hamburg, where she started her MFA in Typography. She also wrote and published some books for Materialverlag and one children's book for Aladin Verlag. She speaks Italian fluently and is passionate about types and colours (or maybe colours in types?).

Born in South Tyrol, Italy, Sarah studied Industrial Design at the Free University of Bolzano. She then moved to Hamburg to complete a Master of Fine Arts in Typography at the HFBK Hamburg. Sarah focuses on digital media and conceptual design and occasionally illustrates entire cities for children. Fluent in both Italian and Ladin, she also knows how to appreciate a good caffettino.
