Output > Input Seminar @ University of the Arts Hamburg, ongoing since 2018
As part of the Output > Input seminar, we explore the sources of inspiration and role models of graphic designers and artists. In the course of the winter semester, various personalities from the field of graphic design/typography will be presented or invited for discussion. How is their personal INPUT reflected in their work? We train our eye and learn how we can use sources of inspiration for our own practice. In the following summer term, we built on what we had learnt and seen so far. The students developed their own designs and print a magazine in collaboration with the HFBK's prepress workshop. This gives the students an insight into print production and teamwork.
